Once we were in the storage room we moved all the old supplies in front of the door and set the watch. Argent on all watches with Enalo and Trot on first, Prechrysler and Errig on second, Otho on third and I took the last watch. Even before we got settled for the night we could hear walking outside the door. Once the footsteps had stopped Errig decided to go and investigate the source of the noise. We all argued against the idea, but he was determined to go. He insisted he go alone and off he went. We waited all night, but Errig never returned. We got up in what we believed was morning and headed back out. First stop was to investigate the room with the six little fire guys. They were gone, but the crates were still there. We open one set up and inside were what looked like little firecrackers. No one had any idea what they were, so I grabbed two and Otho grabbed two. I headed back outside to the to the pyramid and threw one of the firecrackers. I wanted to determine if they were safe, say in case one of us fell into a pit with maybe six or so of these bombs and they were unstable and exploded. It flew about halfway down bounced and nothing happened. So they were stable, that was good. I took my second one and lit it and threw it again it bounced and rolled to the bottom, but nothing happened. Otho had chosen to climb to the top with me as well. I asked for one of his firecrackers. Again I lit the fuse and threw the firecracker it bounced and nothing happened. My guess is that they were defective. All of us went back down where we left Trot and Enalo. We went back to the firecracker room and all of the boxes were now wet. I pretty sure Enalo ran back into the room and used his create water over the boxes and soaked the firecrackers. The little shit. We decided to head back to the stirges room. Heading down the hall we noticed some dried blood on the floor. It was not there the day before. I searched the wall and found a secret door. Looks like Errig was killed around here somewhere. Argent opened the door and inside the room was one of those huge adamantine scorpions chomping on the remains of something. It was probably poor Errig. We rushed in and began the battle. Argent was stabbed several times by the tail and clamped by the claws. We won the battle, but Argent had taken a severe beating. The body luckily wasn’t a human, but a drow thrown into the room through the hole in the ceiling. We used most of our healing spells and decided to go back to the storeroom and relearn our spells. After several hours waiting and resting we headed back out again. Instead of going all the way back to the stirges room we went to the room with the ladder and went out the east door. Beyond the door was a long hallway with door on both sides. The first room we checked was an old bedroom with nothing of value in it, but the second room had a lizard in a similar bedroom. Argent rushed in and attacked the lizard as a second lizard jumped down from the roof and attacked. Even though the lizards had good tactics and were not very tough. Both lizards died quickly inflicting a minimal amount of damage. We chose to head south hoping to connect with the stirges room. As we turned south we ran into a huge statue of a giant painted gold. We were about a hundred feet away, so we cautiously approached. The statue wasn’t trapped and also not of very high craftsmanship. We decided to open the more northerly or the two doors in the hallway. Inside the room were five drow. Four were wearing drow chitin armor and the fifth was wearing red robes with a crest on the front of a volcano erupting with two plumes of smoke. We rushed into the room and the battle was on. Prechrysler and Enalo cast spells at the red robed drow, Otho began singing and the rest of us each engaged the armored drow. I charged one in front of me as Argent, and Trot ran to the other side of the room and fought the others. I defeated my warrior, but I took several hits. Argent had finished his warrior and rushed the robed drow. He quickly finished off the robed drow, as Trot was finishing tail slapping his two drow warriors. We guessed the west door lead to the stirges room so we opened the door and were correct. Four more armored drow and a drow shaman attacked as I opened the door heading south. They were expecting us and they were prepared. They were also able to hold the door so we couldn’t get more than two attackers on them. I was attacked as soon as I opened the door and was not doing very good. Otho used a healing spell to heal some of my wounds. Otho then tried running out the door and catching them from behind by enter through the other door. I tumbled past the warriors to attack them from behind. Argent attacked anything that stepped up to the door. Prechrysler cast his remaining spells; Trot fought beside Argent and Enalo cast his last few spells. The shaman was casting spell after spell at us. All we could do was finish off the warriors, then rush the shaman. When the last warrior fell we rushed the shaman and killed him as quick as we could. Otho and Enalo used the last of their spells to heal the most wounded. Prechrysler cast detect magic and we gather all the loot off the drow from the two rooms. Prechrysler said there were 37 magic potions, 3 wands, 1 amulet, 1 ring, 13 chitin armors, 2 scrolls, 1 cloak, 1 pearl, 1 drow scorpion chain, 1 helm, and 1 drow scorpion breast plate. With carefully experimentation we discovered that the helm could read thoughts. The group agreed that it would be best if I wore the helm.
